Shelby + Bojan- Playa Del Carmen Engagement Photographer

Shelby and I met on a ball field where she pitched 100mph and I stood in the batters box scared shitless that I was going to get hit. But instead, she always just struck me out. For years she was known as the crazy pitcher. I eventually got to be on her team and play with her, instead of against her. I also had the privilege of playing volleyball with the little spit fire. She had no problem throwing her body around on the court and always left the gym with a few bruises. I have always admired her heart, soul and passion she has for life.

As a friend, it’s music to your ears when you hear they have met their soulmate. When I see Shelby and Bojan together, I could not be happier for the two of them. The way they look at each other and the way Bojan lights up when Shelby walks into the room melts my heart. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Bojan, well he is a very kind, thoughtful and patient man. Kind because he is always putting others before himself and would do anything for you, thoughtful because he keeps others’ allergies and/or preferences in mind and patient because he waited for 45 minutes on his first date with Shelby just for her to show up.

Shelby and Bojan got married in Mexico on January 19, 2018. 55 of their closest friends and family joined them for a week in paradise to celebrate their love. The beach was lovely, the drinks were strong and the love was undeniable. The day before the wedding we decided we would head to Playa Del Carmen to relax and take some ‘engagement’ photos (they were actually already legally married in Canada, but hey, who’s paying attention).  A great day was had by all.

Thank you Shelby & Bojan for being the greatest friends and I can’t wait for our next adventure together.
